- Bought 2 of these cookbooks as gifts because of the title. My husband bought 2 more. One for us and one for a friend. What a surprise. The recipes are fantastic. I have made the chicken piccata, the braciole, and the eggplant Parmesan. All came out fantastic. The book is well written, easy to follow, love the personal information and history as well as the Italian and English names. We recommend this book for beginners as well as the most experienced chef.
